I remember one time playing 04 I was in a league using the Cavs and I had about 2 seconds left to end the half. So I inbounded the ball as far up as I could asap, then took a timeout at around the top of the 3 point line with 0.7 seconds left. (If you didn't notice already I purposely tried to set up a D-Fish shot). I didn't try to be completely accurate, and midrange shots don't have replays, so I took control of J.R. Bremer, ran towards the inbounder, inbounded the ball at the left elbow, turned and faded over TWO 7 footers (believe me both were at least 7 foot tall) and SWISH! I tried this some times before but never got it to go in, AND I got the replay! But in an act of disgruntlement my opponent paused the game and skipped the replay right before I the fraps button! I was like NOOOOOOOOO!!

Yep, it's friggin annoying when your inside the final minute and the pc can hit 3 pointers 90% of the time from anywhere.

I've made one half court shot with Lebron James at the half-time buzzer, but that's the only half-court+ shot I've made. Lebron has made various buzzer beaters off mid-range jumpers though. Other than that one Lebron shot, it seems that every buzzer-beater prayer shot I take airballs at the same place (a little to the left/right of the basket). But the computer has made some full court shots after the buzzer.

Maybe in 2004, but if you press the alley button from an inbounds, in 2005 nothing happens

Yea, I get the same thing... Never done an alley-oop from out of bounds.

I did make one with Daniels (Sonics) from half-court at the half-time buzzer a few days ago, very nice indeed.

One of the games I had played today I hit a buzzer beater fading away 2 feet behind the 3 point arch in the 4th quarter :)

We(Cavs) were already up by like 20 and the computer subbed in the 2nd team and McInnis came down and nailed the 3 fading away last second.

I have never tried and alley-oop on the last second or from out of bounds. In my next dynasty game I'll see what I can do!

Mike Bibby did at like the end of the 1st, During my Pre-Season Game in Fresno, CA. Lakers v. Kings.

I kinda didn't know it went in till they showed the refs.

OFF TOPIC, I made a Game Winner in ESPN. It was Magic (me) vs. Celtics.

I shot it from half court, down 2, road game. It was with Dwight Howard.

I was the Cavs and playing online vs. someone. He was the Sonics. Game was tied. I was trying to force OT. There was only a few seconds left. I go for the steal on the inboudn pass, but don't get it and after that I made sur everyone had a man on them. But he goes at the top of the key with Antonio Daniels I think it was and kills all my chances of getting a first online win. He takes the shot, it goes in and time is good as time expires.

And I was leading pretty much all thoughout the game up until that point.

In my last season series game against the mavs in my lakers dynasty Jerry Stackhouse cpu hit a 3 from near midcourt with a second left after I was tied 99-99. Mavs won it 102-99. Then this season Dirk did it at half time to narrow my lead to 7 (73-66) and then Jerry Stackhouse did it again in the same game from the opposite end to give the mavs a 98-94 at 3/4 time. I was wondering why the hell the cpu mavs were doing so much. Luckily I won that match 136-129 and then got true revenge with a 104-79 thumping of them last night. What are the odds though for the cpu to do it twice in a match

it's odd how players miss from the center court, they totally miss the backboard...

and even i can hit the rim almost every time from there

but yeh, i always shoot after the buzzer cause i know they're not going in (for me atleast)

Has anyone found they have more success with a particular type of release i.e pull up jumper, runner, leaner, quick release etc

For further away I think that the running shot is better (the Dunk/Lay up button), but I've missed the hoop quite a lot with that button also, so I couldn't really tell it does a big difference.

I never ever even try these shots, cause I don't want to spoil my three-pt percentage. That is why I always save at least one timeout for the last shot. The best I made was a fadeaway buzzer-beater from about 7 feet behind the three-pt line with the Dirkman.

hav fun who cares about percentages 1 shot wont ruin ur percentage. if u take 200 3's in a season 1/200 wont MATTER
