how is it that 84 is enough for lebron? i mean hes a possible 1st all nba player. his stats are high, and he is a team player that doesnt force shots and willing give the ball to his teammates. hes all about winning.hes a team leader. if you say hes an offensive player, yes he is, but so is ray allen. but lebron is 25, 7,7 and allen is 24, 5,5, and that means he a better passer and rebounder.allen also averages 1 spg while lebron is 2.4spg. if this means hes a better offensive player than allen, and allen is about 83,and both are not so good defenders, then he should be much better than 84.

and what is this 8-cat, 5-cat, and 3-cat mvps? he second to kg in all those areas.

maybe right now lebron can be at 90s but not in the middle 90s.if he be very good on defense if thats what youre looking for, then what is his rating? maybe 94 or 95

70: Average (Walter McCarty, Eddie Griffin)

are you kidding...Walter McCarty...average!?!?!?!? McCarty is terrible, he always tries to dribble and then turns it over, and when he doesn't dribble he misses the three....he is so bad

You don't have to have a young star as a side kick to succeed... TMac didn't have one in Orlando... He was the single star on the team and he went on to win the scoring title a few years back... You could argue that he played the first years with Vince at Toronto, but the fact is that TMac didn't play all that much while he was still in Toronto and he couldn't have been considered a until his final year in Toronto... And not even then cause he had only 34 starts that season.

He had to learn the ropes all by himself in Orlando without any guidance...

And no matter who you want to compare LeBron to... His game is way ahead of anyones at that age...

I was one of the guys that almost wanted LeBron to fall flat on his ass, but the guy just was too good for that. LeBron will not need anyone by his side to become one of the greatest players to have stepped on the NBA court, but he will need young help to win all those titles to really make him as legendary as MJ, Bird, Magic etc.

One thing about these legends is that people want to play with them. LeBron is certainly a guy that will draw alot of free agents to the team if there is cap available. Ilgauskas has his thunderous deal ending now and the team will most probably have some cap this off-season so look for them to add some young talent to the roster this summer...

I don't think titles make the guy... Take Patrick Ewing for example... Can you say that he wasn't any good cause he didn't win a title?

Good point

Karl Malone is an awesome player and he is still hunting for that title though he just missed out with the lakers.

Well just have to see how good LeBron will become...but i think to much spotlight is on him though..

Look At Dwayne Wade he is playing just as good as LeBron and has a good years ahead of him as he gets better

You would think so wouldn't you??? I wouldn't be so sure about it... They gave him a way too generous deal back in the day and re-signing usually means giving a raise to a player. The Cavs can't afford that cause they will want to give LeBron all the money he can possibly want when his extension is coming up in a year or two.

There are a few possible scenarios here:

a. They re-sign Ilgauskas to a long term contract with him taking a pay cut

b. They re-sign Ilgauskas for 2-3 years

c. They sign and trade him to somewhere for that young talent to mix with LeBron

d. They just let him go and go raid the free agent market

I think scenarios a and d are quite unrealistic, so look for them to sign him for a few more years or sign him to a longer contract and trading him away to another team.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens...
