Who Votes For: Having A Fighting Sequence for NBA Live 2005?

Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

All i ask for; Improved Graphics, more realistic animation, real time movement... and TV presented view instead of pressbox view.

I also think it would be nice if cpu can cut/move screen constantly like real game by interacting with other cpu. i think 2003 had good cut squence..

You've posted it later again in the What do you really want to seein live 2005 topic!

Please stop double posting it's almost as irritating as my bad english

Thats why i think if your going to put some emoton in the game, you might as well put a emotion bar so it can fire up some players.

yah..i knw it'll just lead to violence...now..let's move..well i Think they can approve this..I want them to put some glances at each other..and see the other players seperating them...and referees to..i also hope there can be a technical foul included in the game...wahihi... :P and pls...maybe now u can consider this a non-violent act from the game.. ;peace

Again, there will never be fights in the NBA Live series (I've recently checked and the following is still true) because:

- EA does not want to add fights to the NBA Live series
- The NBA will not allow them to add fights to the NBA Live series

I highly doubt they'll allow technicals or even shoving matches given their stance. Like I said, it's fruitless to add it to the Wishlist or beg EA for it, because they legally cannot include those elements of the game in NBA Live.

i thought more aggressive or intimidating defenses for some teams, or even a slider to change the style of defense you want to play to be rougher, which could maybe lead to hard fouls or intentionals that caused warnings from the refs or techs and more injuries might be within the limits of reality and violence for ea and the nba. but fighting would get old i think in live. there is contact, but it's not always violent or hard like the nhl and nfl can be.

and remembering from blades of steel, there was the penalty box, but with live at this point there's too much room for either being too scarce like injuries and a disappointment, or too frequent and just plain frustrating, interrupting the game flow. not to mention the chance of losing too many key players in a game to ejection.

I like that idea, having certain teams playing a little more physical and committing harder fouls. I'm not sure if the NBA would have a problem with it (ie place it in the same class as techs and fights), but there's more chance of them allowing that than techs or fights. Nice suggestion. (Y)

This has the same problem that any type of technical fouls would have in the game.

How would you control it?

I foresee a game of Live 200X with fighting feature...where you're the Sixers playing against the Heat. Allen Iverson has scored 40 points, it's the 4th Quarter and your team is down by 2. Iverson gets the ball...drives to the basket and gets fouled. Then the fight animation comes out of nowhere...you've seen the cutscene already so you skip it by pressing start...and the end result is that the ref throws both Allen Iverson and Eddie Jones out of the game.

You throw your controller across the room...because the computer now sometimes throws players out of the game essentially at random...and the more you try to score with a certain player...the greater chance he will be fouled...get into a fight and thus be thrown out.

The posts show up in Live 200X general issues...and the Live 200X+1 Wishlist demands that the fighting feature be removed.
