also, how do you convert tats.fsh from 07 into 05? i DLed a farmar/may tat and put it into the sgsm and their skin looked all blurry and no signs of the tat. am i doing something wrong?

07 means the tattoo is for NBA Live 07

Ignore the hair, but those are good pictures to work from.

Work around the eyes more. The right eye (our left) looks too far out of place.

Very good! The only suggestion I have is to fix Baron's beard. It looks too "unkept." Maybe groom it a little better?

Yes, tidy it up. Baron looks like as if he hasn't groomed his beard in a week. You see where the cheeks are? There should be an "outline" of the mustache and beard.

See what I mean? You see your cyberface and that pic? There is some hair that needs to be removed to have a good outline of the mustache/beard.

I'm helping Dirtdog with NCAA Live. We don't really need much more besides for the roster which Flite_23 is doing.

Oh, ok. I was hoping you would go ahead with the loading screens to replace the pictures of players who are no longer on the team (Baron and the Hornets, VC and the Raptors, etc...)

There is still some stuff to do. Portraits, jerseys (Hornets and Blazers), roster (Flite is doing that), coaches, etc.

Just a heads up for everyone, please don't put too much here. RSox was good to do the jerseys, but I'm left with essentially everything but the NCAA mod. To be honest I hardly ever play Live and patching gets boring extremely quick and I don't even feel like doing the roster, yet alone everything else.

So RJHNY1, no offence, but who stays on the main screen long enough to see all the players? Who cares about the jerseys needing a small patch? Who really needs a fucking massive shoe patch?

Same goes for xEMMJAYx, dirty dirk and pretty much every other person waiting for me to get through all this.

People around here need to come down. RJHNY1, are you going to cry about the Hornets jersey not having a little OKC patch on it. I know it is very noticable when playing a game, but we can't do everything around here. You wouldn't have even noticed the Portland jersey was changed. If you looked around, you would see that I converted one from 06 about a year ago, but you missed your chance to download it. Not my problem. Nobody is doing a coaches patch either. Do you zoon in during a game on the coach? Does anybody care about the coaches? NO! The menu screens are fine. If we changed them now, eventually the players would retire or get on another team. You would want us to change the pictures then too. Nobody is doing a shoe update too. If you want a shoe in your game, you can use the image from NBLA Live 06 or 07. Look at the tutorial on how to install it properly.

xEMMJAYx, you haven't done anything. That Farmar headshape change was nothing. Anybody can take out the .ebo files from the sgsm/players.

If you want something done, DO IT YOURSELF. I have a life. I can't be bothered with these things. I have done many things and am still invovled with NCAA Live 2005. Flite_23 also has a life. He is doing a roster and draft installer. We don't just whip up patches in 2 seconds.

RSox, I never asked for the OKC patch. I said that the Hornets home jersey now says "Hornets" on it instead of "New Orleans." I already said I asked for a request for that to be made on the 07 board. When someone makes it on that board, we can convert it. Same thing with the Portland jersey. I don't care about the OKC patch.

I never wanted the main screen to be changed. I don't want every screen to be changed. Someone else brought that up. I just wanted new screens of those who changed teams, which is actually a few. But as I said in another post, that's low priority. I'm more concerned with the game itself.

If you don't want to be bothered, then why are you here? Why are you making patches? Didn't you start the SUM thread? Isn't the whole point of that thread to update NBA Live 2005? It's tiring to see you bitch and complain about people making requests or asking questions when you have put yourself in that position to be asked questions or to make requests. Don't get me wrong, I think you're a great patcher and did a lot for the game, but it's rude to make the comments you have made to people posting requests. If I ask for a coaches patch, I obviously care about it. I don't need to you to question me why I want it or why it's necessary. To that person who wanted a shoe patch, he wants it. If it can't be done, it can't be done, but it's not fair to him that he should be criticized for it.

Some of the stuff I have asked for have already been made. I can't believe that people make it and don't have it anymore. If I make something for the game, I'm going to save it on my computer. I won't delete something I spent hours working on. Also, the stuff that I try to download, but the links are broken, people don't have it in their game? Can't find the applicable files and re-release it? For instance, the screen with all of the logos. NO ONE has the logo screen that RSox made? It was up on nba-files.com and the link no longer works. I find that really hard to believe that no one has it and can't re-release it.

RSox, Flite we are all appreciative of what you do. I have offered help in any way I can. I have tried doing this stuff myself. It's not easy. Looking at the tutorials isn't so helpful because the pictures showing you how to do something no longer loads. I have even tried to contact some of the people who made the tutorial for clarification, but they haven't wrote back. If I could do this myself, I wouldn't ask you guys. I'm not selfish to ask someone else to do something that I could do myself.

I hope this dialogue will clear up any misconceptions.

i also have a live as well! i am currently playing a basketball tournament at state level we are 3-1 at the moment but we r coming up to the hardest team yet! soo i wont be making more patches for a couple of days...ill resume in like maybe 2 days!

same goes with me too. i dont just stay at the computer all day making updates or trying to make cfs. i have a class going on 3 days a week and i go out and do activity involved stuff and go here and there sometimes. even i get bored doing updates at certain times and feel the need to just download them instead of doing all of them myself. doing all or most of this stuff isnt that easy put together. its alot of time consuming, and when you look at the time youve noticed that time has been going past pretty fast even for simple parts of the patching for several things.
