Use fgrep's. His 12-min superstar sliders are in this thread and I recommend using them.

I havent tried Andrew's sliders yet, but i think the best sliders are kobebryant2005. Its more realistic and harder to play than mp3's and fgrep15's... Try it!

If you're using my sliders for 2 minute quarters, you might want to turn the game speed up a little bit, somewhere in the range of 40-45 perhaps.

thanks..... glad you like my sliders..... by the way, are you using the final version? if not you must use it, i think it's on page 3, lower portion...... enjoy......

i have a question Yao Mcgrady, are you using it for 8 min? as you mentioned in your other post that you only play 8 min. do you get accurate scores like lowest 80 to highest 100 using my sliders on 8 min?

i'm planning to shift to 8 min, because i feel like 10 min is still too long..... anyway i'm gonna try.... if not then i guess 10 min is ok.....

Yes, of course im using the final version. im playing with 8 min and now its very good. i make between 80 and 100 pts for the game, more than 100 very rarely.

BUT, i havent triedAndrew's sliders so far, but i thing they are great too. Now i dont know with which of them should i play? But, once more, both are fantastic!!!!! :D

They should be suitable for any roster update as well as the default rosters...or at the very least, a suitable base for making further tweaks.

nice sliders andrew played the 1st game with them got a 98-90 score very realistic. i only changed the fatigue effect to 60 it felt like all my starters werent getting tired at all and i didnt even use my bench alot.

Nice suggestion, I might try that myself and make the change "official". Thanks for your input! :)

This get's realistic scores, but the pace is too slow in comparison to real life, the reason for this is that in the game you don't have to use playcalling apart from the pick and roll etc, the offense is so freestyle and their's not stress on playcalling which makes you play fastpaced.

They need plays like ESPN has, I'm able to get real scores with 40 speed because I slow the game down and run plays, but with ESPN on slow, you can get scores in the 90's to low 100's without forcing yourself to slow it down, and their's hardly any free throws.

This should be on top of all Wishlists for next year, real playbooks, off ball screens, players coming off screens etc, AND THE ABILITY TO SAVE THESE in the settings.

Because I prefer to make all my own substitutions. If I was playing with auto subs I'd probably give a setting of 60 a try. 50-60 seems a good range for auto subs and fatigue.

Bumping the speed up to 40 with the rest of my sliders should be fine, I personally prefer 36 but I acknowledge that my sliders aren't perfect for everyone. A few tweaks and variations here and there are definitely in order if they aren't working out. (Y)

Andrew, is that for Superstar?

I think Andrew's Sliders are great for a base too and then you do your own tweaking from there...thats what I did...and I am getting very realistic scores and stats and FG %

These should work pretty well for you (just turn free throw difficulty down to about 40-50 or so)

note: these were to adjust for the fact that i have always played 5-6 minute quarters, to help me get used to a slower paced game. i spent about 3-4 games really tweaking them, and with this result i find fairly realistic stats, slightly high scores though (usually 100-110).

nice sliders, i think it's definitely for superstar difficulty. even though im very satisfied with my sliders, i've tried your's on all-star difficulty and it's very easy.

here are my comments for those who'll use Andrew's sliders on all-star:
1. reach-in foul frequency is too low resulting in too many steals and turnovers.
2. short, medium and long range shooting decrease to 45(user&cpu) because it's too easy to shoot if it's on 50.
3. change the dunk v.s. lay-up frequency to 2(user&cpu) whether you play on all-star or superstar. this will solve the problem on small point guards dunking in traffic but it would not ruin the ability of the athletic guys to dunk.

or if you play on all-star, use my sliders-KOBELIVE'S SLIDERS(FINAL VERSION). hehehehehe...... trust me it's very realistic... it's difficult at first but as you improve you'll get wins but of course you'll lose too....

anyway both are great..... enjoy everyone.....

p.s. no flaming, just wanna help for everybody to enjoy this great game...
