Opening night rosters

hey frenchy, the dynasty didnt crash, but there are some pretty big problems.
first off, there is only a western conference rookie of the month only every now and then.
secondly, that rookie of the month was (every time) Player Player of the golden state warriors with stats of 0.14$ and 2.3$, i have no idea wat this is.
thirdly, the starters for the rookie team were fine except the starting SG had no name and no stats - i have no idea wats up with the dbf file

hope this gets fixed up, pretty major issues

Did you add rookies to the teams ? Cause the roster I sent you had all the rookies in the Free Agency.
Did you try only one season ?

yes only one season, no i did not add rookies, cpu must of signed them thru out the dynasty

I think the lower number is better because Wade, Melo, and LeBron are each 2. Make Rudy Gay have potential.

RSox : I will update the numbers & rate the rookies
Flite : I made a Dmode and obtain the same result, the reason is that the cpu does not sign the rookies available so there is not enough rookies for the rookie of the month and the rookie game

Here is my lastest work, I think the rating is pretty good
and the most important it does not crash in dynasty mode (neither at the year change nor at the season change!!)


As I won't have access to my CPU next week (vacation ) I won't be able to make any update.
But do not hesitate to post your remarks or requests.

I would appreciate if someone could work on the salaries to help me updating them.

ok just skimmed over players overall ratings, i think everything is pretty much perfect, except that almost all the rookies could come up about 2 pts overall but its not a big prob.
everyone else has perfect ratings in my opinion with probably only joe johnson and jermaine oneal a lil bit underrated, only by about 2 and 4 points respectively.
i havnt yet gone through individual ratings yet, but by the looks of things everything is good.
oh and ben gordon is underrated by a few points, instead of 72 he should be about a 75 - 76

Switch Danilo Pinnock's 7 letter code in the player.dbf and appearance.dbf to DAPINNO. You have JRPINNO. You still forgot to add Will Blalock (the last player in the draft). Some players at the end of the draft are still in the free agents. If the team is full go into the players.dbf and change the 50 in the TEAM column (not the ORIGTEAM column) to the correct team number in this http://www.nba-live.com/nba2005/teams.php chart. Then in the game reorder the roster so there isn't more than one player at the same position on a team. Before the next release send it to me to update the years so players in the dynasty mode have the correct age. Just remember after I do that you have to subtract two years for everyone you make after.

I have only added in the team rosters the signed players that's why there is still some rookies in the FA

Some ratings aren't great. Rudy Gay and Shannon Brown are 50 in dunking. Make Gay 92 and Shannon Brown 86.

My dynasty crashed, but I will try it again.

It worked. The problem was I switch Danilo Pinnock with Excel.

DO NOT USE EXCEL IT CAUSES THE CRASH

hey rsox in ur game is smush parkers potrait messed up, his head is real small and up in the top left corner?

it also happens to a few other players.
also, when u (if u have) installed EAs official patch, does ur game pause for a while wen goin back from roster management, and also wen loading/saving rosters?

All the pb with the portrait ca not come from the roster it comes directly from the portrait file

Yeah I know coz I try to modify the fsh files that is in the player portrait file without any success
But my ebo editor can not modify this
