Which team will you use in Dynasty Mode?

I was thinking about this more now that the league has stabilized (if only for a few weeks). Nothing big shaking teams up, so i get to have a look at what I might start with.

I'm taking a long look at Miami, maybe re-signing Glen Rice, nabbing Karl Malone and getting to it. Dorell Wright for ROY! Eddie Jones for frontcourt depth! Sign Stromile Swift somehow...

Toronto is always an option because they're my hometeam and they look reasonably interesting this year.

Chicago, with MJ (I'll download a patch or something), just for fun. I'll keep Mutombo maybe and trade Eddy Curry + incentive for Kwame Brown for the most amusing reunion of all-time, then have Kwame break out and be a 15-20 ppg player... Heh.

The Wizards, if I don't do the Bulls, because I like Kwame. Hmm..

Sacramento but with Mitch Richmond back...

Charlotte would be loads of fun, if only to see if I could make a team that could win any games... Brevin Knight, Emeka Okafor and Gerald Wallace, yeah, that's a winning unit right there...

I might do Houston, because T-Mac is awesome. L.A. Lakers and have Kobe play properly, could be neat. New York, if only to see if I could fix the mess Isaiah Thomas made... Orlando for Dwight Howard. Philly to see what I could get for Iverson and to build on Korver, Green, Iguodala and Dalembert. And maybe San Antonio.

I'll be playing a lot of exhibition games and such to get a feel for the teams that are there before I start playing Dynasty Mode.

For me it will be the Detroit Pistons since they are my favorite team and ive always been them in nba live since 2000.

My 2nd team i will want to rebuild so i might me The Hawks or The Warriors

bobcats will probably be the best team to nab for anyone wanting to rebuild. then again they might not be the toughest team to do it with. as long as you can survive 1 season of torture then you can rebuild kinda quickly. alot of 1 year deals on the bobcats roster, they should have plenty of cap space. with the new offseason too, where you can sign more than 1 player(or atleast fight for more) it should help. i hated how in the old live it would let the worst team sign a player then 2nd worst and so on. just cause you win it all means you didnt get a chance at a top player? lol

The Warriors have J-RICH though.

He went to Michigan State my Favorite Colege Team and the School im going to in 2 years.

Im in a juco right now but amn going to transfer after my 2nd year.

My dad and I have season tickets to Spartan basketball so yeah. Warriors after the pistons.

I'm probably going with Indiana or with any of the worse teams in the L. Clippers, Hawks, Blazers, Cavs (admit it)... Oh, Bobcats and their huge cap relief next year? Yummie :cool:

I'm snatching up th mighty BOBCATS. Got a 3 to 5 year plan to build into a championship team. The challenge is what I live for. Wish I could get on XBOX Live so I can play some of you. Maybe I can borrow an PS2 and play some of you with that. Go BOBCATS.

1. Pistons- played with em since 98 and never plan to stop, although it's kinda weird opening night starting with Ben Wallace, Rasheed, Prince, Hamilton, Billups and in 2001 i started with Ben, Eric Montross :shock:

, Jerome Williams, Stackhouse and Dana Barros.

2. Bobcats- I like to have a franchise on the side that i can build and since these guys suck it's perfect

3. Wizards- always have been my #2 franchise but they are a little too talented now......might go for a crappy team with decent uniforms and courts.

i like to use teams that havent been good for a while.

ATL: Atlanta is my second home next to NYC. I can work with Harrington, and Childress. I can trade Walker. Hawks might be THE sleeper in the east. I'll tank the first season and draft the best point gaurd. I'm also one of the few people who like their blue and green throwbacks...

BOS: I like Ricky and Paul, and banks will be a good replacement when payton retires. I'll go after a pf in the draft. I probably wont write about the celtics though.

CHA: This team will suck for years in my dynasty. I might be able to draft the top player of each postion for 4 years before i start to win. Okafor is gonna dominate with me. I wont write about the cats on here though since a lot of people seem to wanna use them.

MIL: Redd, Mason, KVH, Ford? All I need is a center. I could try to go after Brand and play him at center. Or maybe i'll just try to gun it with these guys. Whatever the case, it's going to be so easy to dominate with this offense.

NJ: They suck. I'll have nothing to trade for, so i'll have to build through the draft. But it's cool. I wish we could move teams in this game. That way I could move the team to Brooklyn like in Madden. Maybe next year...

NY: This team won't win much in real life, but they have a great roster for video games. Nazr, Kurt, Tim, Crawford, Steph, Penny, Houston, Ariza, Sweetney. Niiiiiiiiiice. I can win right away with them. Maybe I'll try and trade Tim and Penny for KVH or Kirlenko.

PHI: Iverson is instant offense in the games. Dalembert and Thomas are good inside. Iggy seems like he got a nice rating from EA. I can work with these guys. I'll try and trade Corliss and G.rob for Al Harrington or someone.

UTA: Okur, Boozer, Kirilenko, Harpring, and Arroyo are a nice starting lineup. Just improve the bench (mostly the backup c and pf),through drafts and free agency and it's NBA finals easy.

interesting...never thought of the Sixers as struggling but I gues they are..I like to pick teams that haven't done anything in awhile too. Very good points man!

i cant see myself playing live and not using Lakers.

but i will try other team like
bobcats(intriguing due to the back they are the new kids from the block)
clippers (the joke or cursed 9i dont think so) team in nba).
bulls (trying to bring back them to glory).

I usually play 3 teams at the same time so i'm going for Miame, LA, and the underdogs Bobcats. Unfortunately i have to wait 2 more weeks before they ship the game to our country!!!

I'm not sure whether to do 2 Dynasties or not. In 04 I went with Detroit and Wizards and I'd play 1 game of each and then 10 or so games with one team and not play the other for a while. Washington was my 'struggling' franchise but I won the NBA championship in 1st season.

I'll probably just start Detroit Dynasty and then maybe a second one later
