However this looks more like a game bug then a technical failure. I'll look into in later.
threatlockz wrote:be sure you have all the latest drivers installed: nforce drivers, nvidia, directx 9c .
that's prolly the most important part. Your graphic card isn't the greatest for running the game, but it should do the trick. But it's strange that it only happens after the first season.... Can you play it from the all-star menu without problems?
paradizecityz wrote:do some of those test in dxdiag
go to start->run->type dxdiag->go to display tab->click those 2 test
back then, i failed one of those test and my game was messing up and after i fixed it, i tested and passed everything and everythin works great for me now
threatlockz wrote:with that system, why aren't you using windowsXP??
it's far better for games and alot more stable.

From what I have observed in the previous replies here, you might not have a problem with your hardware and even your operating system. I agree with threatlockz. Perhaps it might be a failure on the part of the developers of NBA Live 2005, or the nVidia ForceWare developers might be at fault. The problem the graphics card manufacturers are facing nowadays is poor driver design. You might wanna try older versions of ForceWare drivers or these optimized drivers:

Try out the top three first. The last two aren't that established yet.
Another possible problem I can see is the roster patch. Try to play the game at its default rosters, then see if you won't exit to Windows.

I'm playing the new updated rosters... and btw I tried the new drivers from http://www.newgenerationorder.org/ and it did'nt help either... btw, I did a fresh install of WinXP Pro and SP2. now with the new drivers from http://www.newgenerationorder.org/ I notice that the shadows are left behind.
It would'nt really matter if the shadows are left behind if only the 3point game would play after the 1st season
