If they're able to make patches I'm certain they can change colourways. I can change colourways despite my lack or patching experience.

I think there is no need for shoepatches unless we have the chance to resize the shoe fsh-files. The size of the shoes are only 64x64 pixels. Shame on you EA!!!!

You can just click "double resolution" a couple times in fshx, I tried it they work ingame, there is no need for a 2x patch or anything, each shoe texture can be a different size. The mapping is different this year again, so 2004 shoe patches won't work properly.

Really? Thats good news I think, I will try it out.

I have made shoes yet and imported them succesfully, the .zip in my thread sucks, but in my game I've replaced the tai-chi's with (2x) and1 uprise.
Interesting thing: you'll have to import the new shoes into .../sgsm/props/shoes.viv but also edit the same-named files in .../sgsm/xshoes.viv, the last ones are used for the reflection of the shoes on the shiny courts.

That sounds too good to be true. So all we need is a new template for the shoes.

I think you may be out of luck; note that the last post in this thread was made in 2004.
