What to do with missing cyberfaces?

What should I do with missing cyberfaces AND there are none to download?

Is there a way to select some default face? Pink heads don't look that nice you know. Jeremy Richardson, Amundson of Philadelphia, S. Williams etc. all have pink heads and no cyberface is available.

NBA Live 2005 includes some generic faces that are used for the generated rookies (plyr001.fsh etc in plyrface.viv). You could extract these and rename them so that they match those players' PLAYERPKG values, thus using them as placeholder faces.

That's what I've been doing with the 07 and 08 updates when I don't have a specific face for anyone who's newly signed. I take a look at the generic faces, pick out one that's suitable (ie has a similar hairstyle, facial features and the appropriate skin tone) and use it as a placeholder face.

Yes, I'd have to agree with Andrew on that. If you do this, your database is already ready for the 'real' cyberfaces, should you ever get them (I mean that ISCREATED is set to 'NO' and all other values are already correct), so all you have to do is dump your cyberface in your sgsm folder (thus overwriting the placeholders) and you're all done.

And of course, anyone using your rosters can do likewise when a face is released, saving them the trouble of editing the DBF files themselves.
