how do you usually call for a BOX OUT play?

I am getting problems rebounding the ball against CPU opponents and it really pisses me off!

sometimes I let the CPU control my player when rebounding the ball but still my CPU opponent would manage to take offensive rebound! And I have figured out that my players doesnt BOX OUT the offensive team!

so please tell me how to "play call" the BOX-OUT! thx

There's no "play" for boxing out. You use the "5" button on your dual analog control pad...that is the "box out" button. I've only had middling success with boxing out, but I probably just need to practice it more. But when the ball is headed towards the hoop, switch to the man you want to rebound, hit the "5" button and have him box out the opposing player and then hit the rebound button. Hope this helps.

Additionally, if you're got a custom controller configuration, simply enter the controller configuration screen and check which button (or key) is assigned to Box Out.
