how do you put asian-type player's names on jerseys?

for example, like yao ming, asian people put it like this: ming yao and yao shows up on the back. so for Yi Jianlian, how would you do the same as for yao ming so that it shows Yi on the back?

Their is a nationality selection in players.dbf I think that is the one that does it. . .

dang! today's just not my day i having problems with player portraits constantly missing in the game, though its already in the VIV file and not only that, today ive created a few players in the create-a-player thing and when i left the comp idle for say about..20-25 min, then when i come back and open the monitor and open alt-tab back into live and check the free agents, they are not there anymore~! weird..
any way you might be able to fix the plyrprts for me, seu? ive got it right here. it includes a few new rookie portraits[if you already have them created in YOUR roster] and some jersey switches in player trades. youll probably see what i mean when theyre missing. its already in the viv file, but constantly always having some kind of error so that i always have to reDL a few ports over and over to "update" it and seeing if it works AND sometimes causes a crash as well.

what fix? and if you mean by DLing jokers portrait updates, im currently using it

He had a fix for atleast 6-8 guys since their plyrpkg is different from that of 05 or is currently used by old players. . .

im pretty sure that about 90-something% of the plyrpkgs are about right. you can try out my VIV file if u wish to. im having the same problem still today

Did you try deleting the plyr portraits that exist in your updated .VIV but are also in your SGSM?

why would i delete the plyrprts in the viv file? wouldnt that then be even worse?

not in the .viv the ones is the SGSM but already exist with Jokers complete portrait update.

I know I didn't ask this originally, but I have the same question that was originally asked, about the Asian-style named players. I also created a Yi Jianlian, and I looked for this nationality section in the player.dbf file with DBF Commander Pro and couldn't find it. Am I missing something?

same here. i guess the only way to make it say yi on the back would be to put it in the DBF Commander like this: NAME(last)=>Yi----FNAME(first)=>Jianlian
other than doing that, idk what other way to make that edit
