yes
What I did for my game is have the one in copy the sgsm folder before I installed street
I labeled the folder No street
I installed Street into the sgsm folder
Now if I want I can play to go back to the regular indoor basketball I rename the sgsm folder to street and the No street to sgsm

You don't have to do this, but I'm just recommending

can you re-explain that? i couldnt understand what you were trying to say right somewhere in the middle... :?
i mean, i understood the parts about you saying changing the copy of the sgsm to no street and leave the original one alone and place the 'street' files onto the original sgsm

edit: also, for Danet's hi-res jersey update, after it is extracted, i can just send it to the trash right?

After you install street the sgsm folder will have street in it. The no street will have the regular arenas.
If you want to play with regular arenas, rename sgsm folder to street. Rename the no street folder from before to sgsm. (The game only finds the folder when named sgsm)(Must do in that order or there will be two sgsm folders and an error)
Now when you want to switch again name the sgsm folder to no street. Name the street folder to sgsm.
Switching from then on is the same way.

This way if you have a problem deleteing all the street files and you have to delete the sgsm folder to uninstall, or they overwrite an old patch, you'll have the back up copies of them.

If you add a patch after you copy the sgsm folder, put them in both. (Only worry about cybers. And jerseys if you use another roster.)

I hope I cleared that up.

This isn't even necessary, but you have read some of the benefits it can bring so patches don't get overwrote or deleted when (if you ever wanted to) uninstall

For Danet's hi-res O would wait until you install every the set before you trash it

how come for every player i click on the nike freestylers, my game crashes?

2nd edit: my game crashed when i chose urban for 1on1

*xscratch that. when i chose few certain courts. the one with the mixtape tour side backboards did work though.

update on the problems: i found out that the ones i thought crashed actually worked, BUT i think it may be something to do with the rapper teams or baby team or the nike freestylers or ALL of them because when i choose both of either of those teams, and choose a court, it crashes. but when i choose a normal team like the lakers, pistons, etc., it works. BUUT, when i chose lakers and pistons and i forgot what the court was maybe a beach? or maybe one of the caged courts, one worked and the other didnt. so yea, once i got this mod, i started to have problems already.

subject: possible ideas to add to NBA Live Street 2005

hmm, i got a good idea. i was wondering since we got this rappers mod, you think maybe someone can make a starting screen(default: 'melo) with some rapper on it? and have the nba live 2005 logo changed to nba live street 2005 or street live 2005? also, for the slideshow, make it into a rappers slideshow maybe?
for the songs, i already got some good ones in mind. maybe someone can convert it so that it plays during the menu/practice modes, etc and have the song name shown up at the screen too? i have tried to do something like that before, but i messed up badly. here are some songs:

1 chingy ft GIB - professional (coach carter soundtrack)
2 the game - put you on the game
3 jermaine dupri - welcome to ATL
4 lloyd banks - warriors pt 2
5 nas - ether(jay-z diss) or nas - i know i can
6 ti - bring em out
7 notorious big - hypnotize
8 chingy - what up wit it
9 juelz santana - there it go (the whistle song)
10 chamillionaire - ridin
11 the game - this is how we do
12 bow wow - lets get down
13 50 cent - talk about me (Get Rich Or Die Tryin' soundtrack)
14 nelly - heart of a champion
