HELP! PLEASE!!!

wussup all?

firstly...I am new here. Been lurking for a while, but have decided to sign up...yeah and also coz I have a VERY annoying problem.

problem in hand is this.

Everytime I start NBA Live 2005 (or 2006, neither works), the game starts, everything is ok..i play around with the preferences, etc..if I start a GAME..weather it was Season, Dynasty..or ANYTHING..any kinda GAME..the program shuts down and exits back to desktop.

Very VERY annoying. I am yet to this day to play a full game...I can get to about 1st quarter if I'm lucky..and then BANG....exits.

I have all updated audio and video drivers.

This is driving me nuts, as I want to play the game so badly.


It's an original game, not a burnt copy. And i have 2005 and 2006, got them together as a gift.

My PC specs are as follows:

P4
Dual 3gb Processor
512mb RAM
Windows XP Service Pack 2
Radeon 9200 video card
SB Live! Audio Card

did you try reinstalling?

yeah I just did it once again.

This is the 4th time.

Twice with NBA Libe 2005, and twice with 2006.

I formatted my HDD, reinstalled Windows just the other day...updated all my drivers once again...and nothing.

very very weird.

by the way, Im running 2003 right now...no problem.

But i just shelled out $60 (aussie) for 2006, and cant even play it any more.


I mean..my system runs Doom 3 and all new games pretty well...apart from NBA Live

damn..no one knows??
