Help with the Ppjoy virtual controller

I followed the instructions in the other topic but the Ppjoy doess not appear in the controller configuration, it seems that I was confused at the latter part of the instructions. Can someone explain in detail what will I do after I map the buttons in the Ppjoykey. It says there that I must save the .ini file, where will I save it? what file name? and after that it says I must create the ppjoy.jfg file and save it in the config folder. I used the notepad and copied the script, I saved it as ppjoy.jfg but the file was still in .txt format. After that the Ppjoy does not appear in the controller configuration. Help! thanks =)
