Full-court D all the time?

Wed Nov 02, 2005 12:56 am

Full-court press is a sweet thing. Have a decent stealer, like Jason Terry, guard the opposing PG, always keeping between the ball and the PG at the throw-in, with your teammates covering the other players, and you'll come away with a steal quite often.

Now I've realized that this tactic is so efficient that I actually use it all game long. The reason being that I haven't noticed any downsides so far.

That's definitely not how it should be. I would've expected my guys' stamina (see my stamina thread here) go down quicker when playing full-court D, but I don't feel it does, even though my Stamina slider is at 50.

What are your thoughts? Have you experienced similar things with full-court press? Will I just have to restrain myself for not playing full-court all the time and collecting unreasonably many steals?
