Thanks man, I loved Live 2003 for those possibilities - flying over someone for a dunk, freestyle through the defenders legs, and getting my alleyoops tossed into the stands by Marcus Camby. I was gonna do a Live '04 one, too, but seeing how '06 is just around the corner, I'm just gonna do one for Live '05 then move on to '06.
Everyone gear up Fraps or GameCam for '06 and I'll see you in the Live '06 General Issues Forum with the same topic.
Peace!!

How did you normally encode/convert? Try virtualdub, windows media encoder, windows movie maker, or adobe premiere(if you have it). How much space do you have left on your HDD?

How did you normally encode/convert?
i record the play on fraps.
open windows media player, put all the fraps recorded vid then when im saving it "codec prob"
what do you think is the prob?
still have 13 gb. i used windows movie maker...

Try reinstalling the windows media video codec or reinstall Fraps. I recently had a problem where Virtualdub would crash as soon as I dragged a Fraps file on it. I used another version of Virtualdub and it didn't crash.
Did you mean windows movie maker when you wrote "windows media player"?

mmmm. didnt think of that. ill try that that...

btw, the error says,
"COULD NOT ALLOCATE MEMORY FOR FRAPS CODEC"
i still have 10GB... i tried reinstalling it but same problem occurs..

Wow, sounds like you've got some bad problems.
The windows media codecs can be found online, but I doubt thats the problem since your having so much trouble.
I assume your using "windows movie maker" to convert the videos. Thats the one where you can drag and drop video files in and then string them together in a timeline, right?
I really want to see vol. 2, so I searched google and found a site -
http://www.papajohn.org/ and
http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net
Its based around windows movie maker 2 and it has all sorts of troubleshooting solutions.
Its main two solutions for crashes were lowering hardware acceleration or renaming the divxaf.ax file(search for it on your hard drive)

yup, im using windows movie maker.. hope it woeks.. i dont want my work just go to ways. i spent alot of time making vol 2 and recording those good plays...

the fraps recorded video alone ate 6+GB of my HD space. just imagine how many plays i recorded...
its sad..
thx for sticking up man...

I found a cd I had with more highlights from Live 2003, so I uploaded it. It's seven minutes long consisting mostly of blocked dunks and layups, a couple full court shots, some jumping over players, and freestyle control highlights.
Songs are The Game - Here We Go Again(again), D.J. Quik - Dollaz and Sense(third verse), and J-Flex - Who Been There
