it ignores my control pad and always choose keyboard2

Hello, I have nba live 05 and a control pad that works perfectly with other games.

In NBA live 05, I go to settings, control configutarion, and create a new account choosing each control to a button of my pad (for example, pass buton 1) so the game know and use the pad since when I click on a button on the pad it shows it in the correct place (pass button 1), but then when I want to play, it's configured to use the keyboard, I return to the control configuration, choose my account to play, return to the game and another time it just use the keyboard.

what can I do? sorry for my english

When you create a new account, make sure you're configuring the controller you have, as keyboard is the default. (ex. I have a Saitek P880, when I make an account, first I scroll through the controllers untill I find P880, than I configure it)

I use a PS2 pad with a USB thing that converts it to play in the computer, I have never had problems, I chooser other controller but when I try to play, it always is on the keyboard.

Wierd . Can't help you, though, sorry , I don't know anything about PS2 controllers - PC.

your controller isn't in the list?
what does the controller look like/ how many buttons does it have?
might be helpfull to let us know what controller you have.

I have a PS2 sony controller PAD, and I use a usb conversor to use it in the computer, it works in the other games I have played, it also works in nba live since when I configure my controller it accepts when I push a pad button, but then when I play it returns to the keyboard.

It was a silly problem, just my fault. I didnt know that you can choose the control type when you choose who team you use and what team use the other, just moving the "pad" to your team and clicking on it to choose the control fix all.
