Colors and brightness problem

I have MSI ATI 128/128 and a Pentium III 512 ram,windows XP,when i entered at the game the start menu has little brightness,little collor,etc after then i started the match,example: lakers X Detroit and the game is dark,little brightness,little collor,etc

THe solution? the graphics video card has a catalyst 5.8 driver and this driver has a possibilty of a create 3D short-cuts that make run the game with normal colors,normal brightness that i did out the game. My english is not good but i need help, i'm tired about every times that i had played the game i start short cuts(example: SHIFHT + F1) and has a normal graphics... I want a definition solution.

i honestly have no idea.
some things that come to mind: try searching for monitor drivers / correct color profiles for your monitor.

but if the problem is fixed by starting the game with a special shortcut... it isn't that big a deal is it?

Well, i did this, i started the game with a special shortcut made by omega drives and....IT WORKS!!! Thanks all.
