How to get Draft Picks Using DBF

does anyone know how to get draft picks from other teams using DBF ?

As far as we know, it's not possible.

If you want other team draft pick I think you could force a trade for example his first round for yours or something like that. You could force that trade using DBF, you change the team that you're controlling, then run the game, make the offer and save the dynasty. After that the only thing that you have to do is to change another time the team. Then simulate 2 or 3 days in the dynasty and you'll recieve an e-mail telling you that the trade was made.

Has anyone actualy done wat falagar just said above ^^^?? I tried it but it didnt work at all. I was the spurs and iwas 3rd in the league so i switched teams to atlanta using dbf and proposed a trade to sanantonio for picks just swapping picks. Then i switched back to spurs using dbf and i never got an email or anything. However i switched back to atlanta and after a couple days of simming, i got an email saying the hawks reject the trade. As if it was the spurs proposing the trade to the hawks. So i dont know i tried this about 3 or 4 times and all the times the same. Maybe its something i am doing wrong. Falagar, did you actually get this idea to work???

I did what I said before in my dynasty and it worked for me.

WOw thats surprising and cool. Can you please tell me how to do it in detail if you can please. This is what i did. I opened up dbf commander and loaded my dynasty's teams.dbf and changed the ISHUMAN field to false for the spus and true for atlanta. Then quit the dbf commander. I started NBA Live 2005. Loaded my dynasty. Went to team management for atlanta and proposed a trade to spurs (the 3rd best team in the league) for their first round pick for mine. THen saved the dynasty and quit the dynasty to go back to the front screen that you see when you load up nba live 2005. THen i minimized using the windows key and opened up dbf commander and loaded my dynasty's teams.dbf and changed the ISHUMAN field to false for the hawks and true for spurs. Then quit the dbf commander and clicked on nba live 2005 that was in the taskbar at theb ottom of my screen. Then i loaded my dynasty and i was spurs and i checked my email and it said that atlanta rejected my trade for some reason. SO i am not sure if i am supposed to quit the game and proposing the trade and then load it up again. Also when i am atlanta and i go to check the season standings and i see spurs as 5th in the league, there is still the icon with the head indicating it was human controlled team for some reason.

Well you should try to make the offer from spurs to atlanta, save the game and change your team to atlanta. Sim some days with atlanta and see if it works

I've found a way to get this done but before the trade deadline. What you do is go to the standings and check out who's last and then go to the trade mode and see what this team needs the most say a PG for this case, now go to windows and use dbf commander and edit your PG overall rating to 99, save it, go back to the game and trade your PG for their 1# pick and some other player. If the trade is declined then just trade for your PG for their 1# pick.
