Black screen before online play

Yo what up people. Heres my problem, my nba live 2005 online feature is messed up every time I go into a match up lobby and attempt to play somebody, the screen go black for about 1 mintue then it says waiting for other player, then it always loses the connection, I uninstalled the game and it worked i played two games online then after that it stopped again. whats the problem???????????
