Salary Cap - How do I make more money?

I'm trying to get a replacement for Devin Brown, since he was asking for too much money. 22 million/7 years. I want DeMarr Johnson out the free agent pool, I want to sign him because he only wants 2.95 million/1 year, And I don't even have enough to sign him. HELP.

well first you need to pick out some players that make way to much money per season. Trade them to a team like Charlotte who has lot's of cap space and then trade it for someone who make like 2 or 3 mil a year. I did this one time and ade myself 10mil cap space.
