Logitech gamepads have been great to me, I have 2, one is the regular rumble ped which I got from best buy for $21 3 years ago, the other is the wireless rumble ped I got from amazon.com for $29 early this year...
Like Ruff said, just get a new one

Logitech Dual Action blows man, I have one too. Sometimes during the game when im not movin my guy he moves backwards. I'll even configure it again and in Windows but it keeps goin on. Time to get a new controller...I just play it on Xbox now instead of PC.
