how do i choose what play to run

I would really appreciate some help with this...

I went under configure controller and picked a button for "Playcalling"

In the game, when I press this button, my team calls a timeout (on Offense) and on defense, they commit an intentionall foul.


I would like to press this playcalling button and then choose a play to run.

How to I go about doing this.

use the d pad or buttons 1, 2, 3, 4

so i should hold the "playcalling" button and then press one of the buttons?

i know that is what i did in live 2004 and it worked. That's why I'm confused as to why I am having a problem with this. Like I said, know my team just calls a timeout.

I'll often assign a different play to one of the Quickplays to avoid accidentally calling for a timeout or intentional foul.
