Buying this game tonight... Should I?

I only have Live 2000 and 2003 on my collection and stopped buying Live because of so much criticism. So should I or should I not buy this game now specially with the lowered price. I'm thinking of buying a used game anyways.

Please tell me what you enjoyed the most and the least on NBA Live 2005. I'm willing to make my decision depending upon your likes/dislikes.

Rather than posting my impressions again, I'll just link to my review. More reviews can be found here, as well as archived in the NBA Live 2005 General Issues section.

If it's not going to break your budget and your PC is capable of running it, it wouldn't be a bad purchase. Depends if you're planning on playing a lot of Live the next few months, since NBA Live 06 will be out later this year, most likely October.

yay! I bought the game just now, just installed it and im about to play ( i thought I should let ya know this is going to be the first time I ever play this game

)

I got my copy from Game Stop for only 19.99 plus taxes and to my surprise when I was leaving the store I opened up the box and found not just one but two new games

Uh,Nope.I just got my NBA live 2005 on thursday and i can't say i'm very "dandy" about it (stupid fckn fastbreaks). Other than that,the game's cool.

And in to response of why i quoted that? Because Gamespot Bought EB,And they'll merge,You can't beat someone when you're OWNED.(literally in this case.)

Yes I am

Some things really bugs me though. Here's the listing:

1. CPU auto-reordering my roster. eg. B Gordon is always put back as a starter after a few sim games. He never stays on the bench for long because he has a higher rating than his couterparts.

2. Player Profile not showing career stats ala NBA Live 2000. In Live 2005 you have to switch through the years instead of having one page displaying all the stats (the way the did in NBA Live 2000)

3. Excessive amounts of blocks and steals.

Note: I'm using the NLSC roster and the recommended sliders included in that zip file.
