Rookie as Player of the Month?

Shaq was named Player of the Month even though rookie Ben Gordon had better numbers than Shaq did. Gordon was relegated to Rookie of the Month.

Are rookies not allowed to win Player of the Month awards? Can't they win both POM and ROM?

I don't think there's a restriction on it in real life, couldn't say for sure about the game though. Sometimes the CPU will snub players (especially those on the user controlled team) when naming Player/Rookie of the Month.

Ive had rookie players of the month lots. Remember, this game is *obsessed* with rebounds so shaqs rebounds will count highly in his favour, vs gordons points/steals assts. etc.
