nba dynasty

i am new to playing nba live 2005,....my question is dat, what is the main difference of playing the season and the dynasty?

In a dynasty you have way more options as a manager,since you have to scout new players,re-sign current ones with the salary cap in mind and most importantly you play the off-season which is not available in a season. You can also make your players better by 'buying' practices which makes them improve by a lot.
