So for those who don't know about some players or just don't want to put the work into doing it themselves, I'll be doing them as soon as the game drops

Also, how do we know how ratings translate? For instance, a 50 in '05 might not be the same as a 50 in '04. I think its a waste of time for people to work on edits before they've played the game for a while.

Scouting Report: High-paced combo guard with an assertive mentality ... A difference-maker, he changes the flow of the game ... Plays the game at a lightening pace ... Highly mobile with the rock ... Keeps turnovers to a minimum ... Has great stop-start speed ... Beats defenders off the dribble consistently, especially on the wing ... Doesn't shy from contact in traffic despite lack of bulk ... Sometimes settles too much for the pull-up ... A silky-smooth shooter ... Owns a quick release ... Gathers himself into his shot well ... Adds good rotation ... Shoots with consistency from long-range ... Cuts well off the ball ... Gets out in transition by simply beating defenders down court ... Likes to go coast-to-coast ... A big-time finisher with tremendous leaping ability ... Terrific rebounder considering his size ... Solid awareness ... Willing as a passer, and has wonderful vision ... A sneaky defender ... Likes to pick off passes ... Tries to do too much at times, however ... Has poor size at the off guard position but lacks the frame of mind to be a true point ... Good shot-blocker despite his 6-3 frame because of his quick jumping ability and long arms ... Needs to add strength.

have to agree with uconn. its difficult to rate a guy who hasn't played through an entire regular season yet. only because no one knows how much of an impact he will make in the nba. there are alot of guys who play a mean college game that fail to produce in the nba (flops). so you can't rate a guy on potential.

true.. but you can't predict if his freethrow numbers are going to stay consitant with the ones he produced in college. just look at tim duncan's freethrow percentage from 01-02 season compared to his 03-04 season.
