[PC] How to get the playybook to work / auto substition?

okay, this game is quite good but lately i noticed that I cannot set up the quickplyas for my team.

the first bad thing about it is that you cannot use keyboard keys to use quickplays?
the second is, i was like hell ok, let me use a controller button, so i tryed one but then they use isolation and box or something, TOTAL DIFFERENT to what i have set in my strategy, why that?

another thing is, does the computer auto change the players? how can you disable that?

and one thing why this game is not as good as many say, if you have a fast break, many times my players dont even run, they just keep on standing at the 3 point line ALONE while 2 are on me, why not run on to the basket so i can pass and he could dunk?

and if you just play normally, the default strategy is that my SG and SF are at the 3 point line? i mean you cannot even get through it because they dont move and MY QUICKPLAYS dont work.


I am sorry, if there are already similar topics to this but i did not find one yet.

and could someone guide me to a section where you actually see what buttons you really need to use to play this game, because there are to many, they dont all fit into my controller.

For autosubs just check your substitutions slider.

I didn't really understand what you said about quickplays. You changed them in your team strategy or you changed something in the configure controller screen? I can run my plays with D-pad, of course it is not as easy as with keyboard but still I can live with that.

im sorry for my bad english.

I do play with a controller BUT i do not have enough buttons free to put there my quick plays up. thats why i thought let me use my keyboard to change them. but it doesnt work, EVEN I can configurate the keyboard buttons but not use them IN GAME.

and ye i changed the qiuck plays in my strategy (offence and defence) but if i then hit the button to use them, i see total different, like the default ones, HOW to change that?

what you mean with D-PAD? is that a specific controller or?

The D-pad is that digital 8-direction button on your game pad.

I have the same problem as jiggawhat, I have 8 buttons which are all used. Is there anyway you can use the keyboard and the gamepad together?

well i got a weird pad, its looking like ps2 one, 4 buttons on the right, 2 on the top, each side, left and right. then the 2 digital things and the analog one. plus like 3 button which would be select and start.

thats in total around 12 but still i get confused because there is so much you can configurate.
