Cyberfaces in v1.11?

Postby Andrew on Thu Apr 07, 2005 4:35 pm

[lob]-Shy has provided me with a host of missing face patches to include in the roster updates. I was going to include them in v1.10 but upon realising the file size decided to pose the following question to the faithful downloaders of the NLSC roster update:

Would you prefer to download a single, large update with all the faces included, or would you prefer a seperate add-on that adds all the faces and modified dbf files to accomodate the face patches?

separate it.. i always hate it when you packaged the faces since i already have some of them and that i didn't install my live in the default folder so i have to move the patches everytime...but it's not that much of a big deal

Well. I'm on a good connection, so I don't mind. But seperate for those with dial-up or bad connection could be thoughtful.

Separate it, it would be much better and easier, I prefer to install patches by myself. :)

Seems most would prefer a single update, so I think I'll go that way unless there are some major objections. I'll do what I can to make it as small a download as possible.

I prefer single DL cause then I don't have to all the dbf editing for my retrofaces.

Single's still leading the vote, so that's the way I'll go. (Y)

That's correct; I forgot to mention that. Not all of the player updates have portrait files, so some players have blank portraits rather than the "No Portrait" portrait.
