Crashes at Load/Save Screen

Postby falcon7602 on Fri Apr 15, 2005 10:49 am

Ok prior to today this game worked fine. I go into it and everything is ok, but then when i go to the load screen the game crashes right to the desktop. I treid to install a jersey patch, but then uninstalled it as i thought that was causing the crashes.

Specs:
1.6 GHZ
512 MB of RAM
Windows XP
32 MB NVIDIA GeFOrce 2 MX 200

mmmm try uninstalling the game........do a clean reinstall......back up first your saved folder.....delete the mydocuments entry of nbalive2005 as well as the program files.....then reinstall the game........play it without loading your saved game......if it turns out ok.......try loading your saved game again and play them.....

the way i looked at it, is your vcard is kinda slow.......a 32 MB? when the game min. req is atleast a 128......but since you said that you have played with that specs before i assumed the patches did your game bad.....
otherwise you can wait for a second opinion (Y)

Have you done anything else with any of the save folders, such as copying a save.dat file into two folders?

i went in to look at my saves folder and in it was a file called "7z Self-Extract Setup" and the author was Igor Pavlov... anyone know what this is :?: I deleted it and my game worked fine again. Hmm..

I use that self extracting/installation routine program for the NLSC roster update. If you're using the NLSC roster update, the installation file doesn't need to be in the same folder as the saves - it will extract the files to the correct folders automatically.
