Adding shoes pictures & PORTRAITS (By SERAPH)

Extract one file of the fe/misc.viv (for instance misc~creaicns~sh058) using EAGraph
Open the file that you just extract with BigGui and extract sho58.fsh
Open the file extracted (sh058.fsh)with FSHx and replace with the bmp
Use BigGui again and replace the new sh058.fsh . REBUILD the Big file
Add the new big file using EAGraph


Maybe is a easy way to do it but its works good for me



If you want to add pictures in edit mode,for your new added shoes, follow the same procedure that you use for the existing one, but export also the (sh... .ebo)file (NOT REALLY NECESSARY YOU CAN EDIT THE ENTIRELY BIG FILE WITH FXEDIT, but more difficult to locate where it is)
Open the .ebo file with FXEDIT scrool down to the bottom and you will find this string "sh0581"(let say that you originally extracted the misc~creaicns~sh058)
Edit the number of the shoe. (Dont change the last "1")
Save the file.
Import the new file to the misc~creaicns~sh058 using BigGui
Rename all the files with the number of your added shoes
REBUILD THE FILE and save changing the shoe name (for example misc~creaicns~sh278)
Import the new file to the... \EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 2005\fe\misc.viv using EAGraph.

Please make a backup of the misc.viv just in case..........

THE SAME PROCEDURE WORKS FOR CHANGING PORTRAITS OF THE PLAYERS

you got to open the plyprts.viv instead....

I tried putting in the portrait for Chris Paul, but when I highlight his name anywhere when it's supposed to show the portait it blacks out back to the desktop. I used these steps:

Extracted Rafer Alston's player portiot .big file from the .viv
extracted RAALSTO.fsh from the .big
Created a 128x128 .png file with Chris Paul's head and a transparent background
saved it as a .fsh file using FshX
imported it into rafer's .big, deleted the original RAALSTO.fsh from it and renamed all of the other files to CHPAUL_
renamed the .big file to CHPAUL_.big
Imported it into the .viv in the fe folder

What did I do wrong?

you didnt do the ebo file thing. using fxedit change raalsto string to chpaul_.

i can't extract the file using bigGUI,im using eagraph instead..i really don't know how to install the shoe patches and when im running the game it gets cropped,as in everything needs to closed..what seems to be wrong??pls i really neeeeeddddd help as soon as possible..please u neeed to xplain the steps one by one,please...im beggin' u...
