Mon Mar 28, 2005 12:48 pm

what do you guys think of this trade...

Gasol & Dampier for

Nowitzki & M. Daniels

i've alread tried it and it went through, but is this worth it??
i get more denfense from Gasol but a lot more offense from Nowitzki....

this is the wrong thread...you have to go to dynasty issues

Mon Mar 28, 2005 12:52 pm

this is more of a dynasty issues question I think....either way I think it's a pretty fair deal for both sides....

sorry i just wanted some advise, it's not really an issue

don't sweat it....it could be easy to get confused on whether to post this Q in dynasty issues or stories, but dynasty stories are dynasty story threads and everything else dynasty-related (including trade questions) go into dynasty issues

I like that trade. Dirk is a very good shooter and Daniels is good too.

The Mavs would never do it IRL, unless Nowitzki decided to break ties with the team and move on...

Also, Dampier's already on the Mavs..

I don't think the trade is bad either way. I like Nowitzki and Daniels more than PG13 and Damps though.

In real life I'd definitely go for Nowitzki and Daniels, in the game I'm not so sure (well actually I'm still sure, but not as sure as I would be in real life). I really don't like playing with Nowitzki in the game, maybe it's just because I haven't learned how to score with him yet.

hmm thanks guys, i decided to keep gasol for defensive reasons. I really didn't need the scoring. But i had to try out the trade cause i thought it was a bargain. And as Madsnyb said, i didn't know what to do with Nowitzki as he's such a good shooter but putting him in the PF position really limits him going for a long 2 or going to the 3 point line.... unless i move him to the SF position... well anyways, thanks again for your thoughts
