I'm glad you've downloaded some of my shoes :)

This is the way to replace shoes rather than making a new place for a new one. That is more complex and I haven't really gotten around to trying it myself.
    1. Open the \NBA LIVE 2005\sgsm\common\xshoes.viv with BigGUI and extract the shoe you want to replace. (List of what shoe's what here)

    2. Open that file that you just extracted with FshX (or one of those programs). Then you can double the texture size if you click 'Texture'->'Double Resolution', then you import the new texture. Do that by clicking 'Texture'->'Import...'. In there choose the image of the shoe-patch (the pictures is in the .zip you downloaded) and double click it.

    3. Then just click 'File'->'Save' and exit the program. Then put the .fsh file that you just saved and into your main NBA Live directory. That's it.
If you have any more problem with it, just post about it (y)

You don't have to replace any shoe or delete it as long as you place it in either the main NBA Live directory or in the /SGSM folder.
Why don't you use FshX (That is the only one that does the 2x texture as far as I know), and is easy to work with. Are you opening the program first, and then clicking 'File'->'Open'?

You don't have to decompress or import at all. It's much better if you just place it in the main NBA Live directory.
