Player signing during off-season

Hi,

Just a question... I was searching through the forums hoping that there might be an answer but I must have either missed it or it hasn't been posted ever...

Anyways... I was wondering if there is/are any fix(es) for the player signing during the off-season? 'Coz I have guys like Grant Hill, E. Jones, Van Exel... etc.... rotting in the free agent market... everyone else is over the cap so no one can sign them... with that also follows that teams sign all those undrafted rookies to 1yr minimum contracts... so in the end when you play the game you have a bunch of no-names on good teams such as sacramento or so... so there...

P.S. this year's player signing part was better than last year's edition... at least now you don't see Ray Allen and T-Mac on the Free Agents list for a whole season...

Yeah I don't think there's anything we can really do about it short of dbf editing. It's kinda annoying, I notice 90% of the big FA's (like Allen or T-Mac) almost always end up back at the team they started with. Charlotte usually signs alot of players too like Ratliff, Hughes etc.

*sigh* seriously this is something I hope will improve in the next NBA Lives...

at any rate... if I were to edit some dbf files what would I want to touch and what would I not touch?
