Realistic Sliders

Andrew, I had a question regarding your Live 2005 sliders. What difficulty level and how many minutes quarters are they meant for?

Thanks.

imo the CPU steal rating is way too high and the Reach-In Foul rating is too low.. perhaps if it seemed to differentiate between stripping the ball from dribbling opponents as opposed to opponents holding the ball it wouldnt be such an issue.. but as it is I offend find myself being stripped while in the tripple threat a fraction of a second after receiving the pass.. I'm playing a game atm and I'm only 5 mins in and I've already had the ball stolen 5 times.. 3 times while stationary and not dribbling.. this is a bit of a one off.. but in real life if you try to strip anyone who knows the first thing about protecting the ball you're just begging to get pinned for the reach in.. plz to raise reach-in rating to atleast 20

I used it for Superstar and 10 min/quarter, I didn't change anything. (Y) I got realistic scores and stats with that. :)

I've been using 9 minutes for my quarter length and my scores have been a bit low. I'm going to try 10 minutes later tonight and see if that helps.

I have it at 46 and it works perfect with A's sliders. (6 min. and All-star diff.)

My only problem is that CPU players run so fast on fastbreak and can catch up really quick on my fastbreak... grrr... :x

I have a problem with these sliders. I use them on Superstar with 12 minute quarters and still seem to score over 35-40+ pts a q. I upped the CPU's sliders in just about every defensive and offensive categories and it seemed to help a bit though.

If my sliders aren't working out for you, I'd suggest making further tweaks (as you have done) or checking out some other slider sets that have been posted in the sticky thread over in General Issues. I get good results with my sliders and other folks do too, but I know for a fact they don't work for everybody, so don't take them as gospel. ;)
