Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

When I'm in dynasty mode and try to sim non-user controlled games (simming days in between my team's games), lately Live has been crashing to Desktop. It seems that sometimes the simming will complete, but usually it crashes. This just started happening recently, and I've never had a problem before. Closing all programs doesn't seem to help.
I've seen other people have problems with playing games - this is not when Live crashes, so I doubt it's my graphics card (although I do have to update that). Any ideas?
P.S. I have a 2.0 Ghz processor, 384 MB of RAM, 64 MB of video memory, DirectX 9.0c, GeForce4 MX 420 (I will be updating this card soon, but like I said, I don't think it's the problem)

try to track back any changes you made to your system since it's happening. installed new drivers/software/... ?

Can't say that I had installed something around the time that this started happened. The only thing I can think of is the Microsoft .NET Framework, but I'm pretty sure this problem started happening before I installed that.
The strange thing is the sometimes the game crashes while simming, but other times it won't. If I keep restarting the game and only sim one day at a time, eventually I can move forward. And I have NO problem playing games. That makes me think it isn't a problem of a corrupt database in my save folder.
Could this be a RAM issue (as in not enough)?

not likely. try googling for memtest86 and run that to see if your RAM has any read/write errors, just to make sure.
