Trade Draft Picks for Draft Picks

Hello everybody. I am from Canary Islands, Spain.

I've been playing for a while NBA Live 2005 with Sacramento Kings in Dynasty Mode.
It seems to me very difficult to trade a Draft Pick for a Draft Pick with any team in the league.
I know that it is possible to trade a good player for a Draft Pick.
Can anybody tell me, if is it possible trade Draft Picks for Draft Picks? And if it is possible when is it the best moment to trade? I mean after the first competition month, when?

i actually got one done one game into the season. traded a first round draft pick for another. i just randomly did it and it worked.. i was like oh shit!

maybe because the CPU AI knows that next year SACRAMENTO wont have a high draft pick choice. maybe thats it. meaning if the CPU knew your team is a playoff caliber team then it might get scared trading his pick to yours. for the info a team which is a playoff material will not have a high draft pick the next season/

the guy above us said he cant trade. so im explaining things to him about draft picks trading.

I find trading for draft picks with players or other draft picks easier in dynasty season 1... and almost impossible in the following seasons... maybe its a bug...

maybe.........me i dont trust rookies. better to have someone in the free agent pool or get somme players deep in the benches of other teams.

i have to admit. tradin draft picks aren't easy. well if for example: seattle has 14th pick and toronto has 15th. then toronto would probably need to give up a reserve AND the 15th pick for seattle's 14th pick. the best time to trade for draft picks would be near the end of the trading deadline. i hope this helps. =).

seems like a lot of folks has been promoting to trade near the deadline. so i guess thats the thing to do
