Cannot perform update

I am having problems installing the update for nba liive 2005. there is an error message pop-up stating "File not found". Is there a specific place to copy the exe and rtp files?? thanks

i already dowloaded the manual update and tried installing it. But, there is an error. I downloaded all the files. Do i have to have a special installer for the patch? I need help badly...

what error?

I assume you have a legal version of the game and no cracks or whatsoever installed?

yes it is a legal version. "Old file not found."

strange. try reinstalling the game, and apply the update immediate after installation.

^if it says Old File not found, that means u updated ur game by patching it with patches from nbalive sites, the ea updates needs the original file so what you can do is see which file it says that error on and go to ur nba live cd and copy it to ur folder and then install update, after update is done, just reinstall the patch
