stoudemire's fg is only in the line of 60. He's no. 2 or 3 i think in the field goal rating percentage

Maybe it's because he takes many high-percentage shots such as dunks and lay-ups.

I think he range needs to be a little deeper if anything.....he can hit the 15 footers no worries now days - and i reckon 18 footers alot on a good day.

I don't have the roster, but I would guess his inside scoring rating is like 95. Which should make up for it.
He can make jumpers at a rate deserving a 60 out to about 17 feet.

shaq has 99 fg even if he doesn't make any jump shots.

I thought I'd raised Amare's field goal rating. I don't think it's worth 99 just yet, but it should be higher than 60. I've just released v1.05 though, so it will have to wait until the next release.

I think amare's FG rating is currently 66....looking at other big guys:
Name - FG (Range)
Shaq - 99 (12')
Duncan - 82 (15')
Webber - 80 (20')
Randolph - 78 (13')
Ming - 75 (15')
Gasol - 74 (18')
LaFrentz - 72 (23')
J O'Neal - 70 (15')
Brand - 69 (15')
...
Amare - 66 (13')
Amare has worked on his game - but I don't think I'd call him a shooter....I think his range is out to 15' now....maybe something like Jermaine O'Neal or Elton Brand 69/70 and 15' is appropriate???
Is Randolph really a 78 shooter type player? - I suppose he only has 13' range, so it balances out a little.
The game uses some combination of the ratings to determine how dominate a guy should be in scoring.....Shaq is obviously a dominant player - but maybe his 99 and 12' is a bit much....maybe either 99 needs to go down a little or 12' needs to go down a touch???

Amare's should be higher than 66, I agree. I thought I'd raised it higher a couple of updates back.

Poor Amare never got his FG boost - still 66.

Sorry, I missed it in v1.06 as it was a quick update. Something for v1.07.

all ratings are of course important, but imo the IS is the most important rating for a big man in this years live.

a player with high IS will dominate in sim games - this rating needs to be very closely considered for all big men to accurately reflect their ability. as to how to do this most accurately i am unsure as it is difficult to use statistics to calculate somethig like this. any ideas apart from gut feel etc

sorry guys if this might be a stupid question, but i'm new here and i'm wondering if these roster/rating updates are just for the pc and not the ps2 because i play on the ps2.

yeah sorry if you're wondering why i posted it here was because i used the suns from time to time and think that amare is way underrated because he is only a 76 overall i think?

The NLSC update is for the PC version only. I can't make updates for the console versions.
