Changing All Star Rosters on PS2

I want to change the allstar rosters so they are acurate to the 1s that are out for this years game. Is there any way of doing this on ps2??

When I started my *Oldschool v.s. Newschool Dynasty* a long time ago I was able to trade 50's - 90's All*Stars onto their original teams, so I believe you can just do it like that only with regular players. I think I released them from the All*Star slots and then signed them with other teams. So try to release the 2 players you want to swap and then sign them to opposite teams
