DYNASTY BUG HELP (created players)

Hi all,

This would be my first post here although I frequently read the boards. I would like to ask for some help from you live vets out there regarding my dynasty. Well, my friends and I like to make whole teams of created players for ourselves and use that to play. We easily use up around a hundred plus of created player slots. (this is for the pc of course)

Now here's my situation, when I use my created player roster and use it in the franchise, the game crashes every time after the first training camp. I don't even get to play a single game. The game works just fine when using the default rosters or when I use my created roster in a the Season mode. Same thing happens on my friend's PC, as we are using the same roster file.

I've tried reinstalling the game, and did some work on the DBF, but still the game crashes whenever I use it for the franchise. I really want to use my players and play in franchise mode... season is simply not good enough. So please, any suggestions or answers would be greatly appreciated.

well as i read your post, correct me if i 'm wrong, that you create all your players using DBF, am i right

well if im right that you create players using DBF then you should also need to put new entry on appearance.dbf not just in player.dbf.

also if you need to see your dont have 2 players having the same roster positions, like maybe you put 2 player as starting center in a team.

well hope i can give you some idea about your porb.

Thanks for your reply Micchy. I created the players using the create player option... I just did some tweakings on some of them (height, weight, dunkpack). I'm not sure about the same position thing, didn't know that it could cause the game to crash. Would check it out... hopefully, this problem is just that simple to fix. Thanks for your help!

I learned the hard way, a little thing can cause the whole game to crash. I try not to mess too much with the dbf now.

Indeed, well I feel like I tried everything to make the franchise work but still no rewards. Any more suggestions would be great (dbf editing, etc)
