Who has this problem!

No matter what time I play, who I play against, it doesn't matter, this always happens and I can't believe I didn't see anything about it!

I play on Pro mode and I'll be doing fine perhaps through the first quarter or two... getting plenty of steal and the stealer successfully taking the ball up the court the opposite way for the easy layup or jam...

BUT THEN, eventually after the 4th or 5th dunk, Steve Francis suddenly goes to dunk and misses! He steals the ball back and tries to dunk again but he MISSES AGAIN WTF! He gives the ball off to Yao and he tries his luck but oh NO A MISSED LAYUP! WTF!

DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE? I LOSE LIKE AT LEAST 10 POINTS IN A GAME DUE TO MISSED WIDE OPEN DUNKS/LAYUPS! PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHATS THE DEAL!

Either the copy of your game is doomed, or your not good at playing. :shifty:

Well no I'm great at playing... I usually beat the other team by 15 points... but down the stretch if it gets close and I really need those fast break points Francis, McGrady, I don't care if Bryant was on my team... They'd all MISS the dunk wide open running down the court on a breakway... it happened in '04 and it happens in '05...

I'm running a 3 GHz Processor, 1 Gig RAM PC with a Radeon 9800 Pro... needless to say I have the graphics settings maxed out, so framerate issues or anything in that manner isn't a problem, the guys just miss their dunks... and it's the most retarded thing ever.

The A.I. in this game is known to piss you off.

(Off-Topic) I did make it to Double Overtime once.

Is your CPU Assitance on?
This keeps the game close so no one gets too far ahead, thus you miss layups and dunks more often

Well that might be a huge problem... that was on, I thought the computer just helped guys run up the court on fast breaks or something... thanks for the help!

Yeah, I often miss up to 7 straight ball possessions when playing against the Suns. No matter what I do, call a timeout or shoot from the post for a sure shot, I still do not have my momentum returned. I guess this is just part of the game. The Suns are very overrated.
