question about 1.04 roster

Hi
I have a question about the mikki's gear patch or something that is included in 1.04 patch
I played using Raptors and Aroujo had no tatoos on his arm
Did EA never had a tatoo for him or is it because of the mikki patch?
and How do i know that i installed the mikke patch or not? b/c i see no difference with the gears and accesories.
I didn install any other patch except this 1.04 patch

Mikki's patch doesn't change any of the art files, so I'd say Araujo's tattoo just isn't in the game by default.
