How do you add a custom face to a created player

Hey all, I was wondering how you add a cyberface for a created player in live 2k5. Ive been trying to go over tutorials, but i always get confused. Also, could someone post the EA face for kobe?

LBM Patch installation instructions.

You can use either EAGRAPH or whatever tool you use to import files for the install of the patch and
instructions for EAGRAPH are listed below.

Existing Player:
Using EAGRAPH open the corresponding viv file for the files listed below. Once opened Click the Import button and select
the "Add files to an external Tar" option. Click add then select the appropriate file and click Next. Now Click Finish and follow the same
steps until you have imported all of the files included with the patch.

Example: To install the Sasha Vujacic patch, Open plyrface.viv using EAGRAPH, Click the Import button, select Add files to external tar and click add and select
savujac.fsh and savujacr.fsh and click Next, now click Finish and your done. Then you would do the same for the other files
by opening the other .viv files below in EAGRAPH and following the same directions to import the files listed below next to
the corresponding .viv file.

plyrface.viv -> savujac.fsh, savujacr.fsh
plyrgrb.viv -> savujacB_goggle.ebo, savujacB_headband.ebo
plyrgrc.viv -> savujacC_goggle.ebo, savujacC_headband.ebo
plyrgrd.viv -> savujacD_goggle.ebo, savujacD_headband.ebo
plyrlodb.viv -> savujacB.ebo
plyrlodc.viv -> savujacC.ebo
plyrlodd.viv -> savujacD.ebo

Non Existing Player:
Follow the exact directions above to install the files that came with the patch. Next you will have to create Sasha
using EA's create a player. Once created you must then open the players.dbf and appearance.dbf files and make some minor
adjustments. The changes are listed below by file.

Players.dbf
Change the Following Field Attributes Sasha Vujacic
DELETED = F
ISCREATED = F
FACEPATCH = F
ISGENERATE = F
ISHISTORIC = F
PLAYERPKG = SAVUJAC

Appearance.dbf
In the Players.dbf locate the APPEARID for the Player and then search for it in the Appearance.dbf file. Once located make the following
changes

DELETED = F
FACEID = -1
ID7 = SAVUJAC

Now just load up the roster and the player should now be in the game. Enjoy

I followed this method in creating custom faces for created players, however I cannot get them to work in dynasty mode. The game just crashes after the initial training period.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Nope. Mine works in dynasty mode. BUt i added after my Dynasty was created =\. But mine crashes since i never added a Portrait. So if you foul and your persons stats show upa t the bottom mine will crash without the Portrait and i know how to fix this.

But have you added teh Player Portraits or anything?

I did add player portraits and they work fine along with my cyberfaces in all modes, but dynasty.

I guess I'll have to try starting a dynasty first and then adding my players. How did you do this? Did you add you players to the free agent list and sign them or did you just put them on your team by dbf edting?
