Talk about NBA Live 2005 here.

Oh, I completly changed the ratings from the existing roster from nba-live.com roster. The reason I used it, at the time someone suggessted they had the most updated roster with respect to players who are on NBA teams but aren't in the default EA roster. So I could get new players like Matt Bonner who aren't in the EA default roster .
I'm just concerned about doing new ratings based on current 2004-2005 Statistics, so I will find any roster that has the newest players and make modifications to it. I never claim to say the new players that are created that don't exist in the EA default rating are players I created, I simply find a roster that closest resembles the current NBA rosters and apply my formulas + NBA stats + NBA official minimum values to dervies new ratings.
My Ratings that I calculate are not taken from anywhere, they are done completely by me. And anytime there is a trade, signing, release of player I do it myself. I only used the roster to have a starting point that had players in the NBA that aren't in the default Live Roster. That's it. If someone has a problem, I could just make these players myself, most of these players are 2nd round players, and just a handful of them actually player more than 10-15 minutes a game.
-------------------------------------------------------------
I did not know people do not like people altering their stuff, I could careless if someone uses my site, takes my formulas, takes my newely created roster ratings and does whatever they wish.
Since you feel so strongly against it, I'll simply create those scrub players that Live does not have by default. And apply my formulas to get my ratings and come out with my own patch.
When I talk about my patch I talk about new ratings based on the current 04-05 Stats and NBA qualifiying numbers, I never claim the created players in it are mine, I just update ratings that's it.
But I will create players like Matt Bonner and the other scrubs in the league that don't exist, it will take a day maybe 2 to do, not a major issue compared to the development time required to setup the process and formulas used to do accurate updated ratings.

well someone cares if you use them work as a template, least you could do is to ask if you could use it and afterwards give the credit to whom deserves it

Matt Bonner isn't a scrub. Leave him alone.

I'll just do everything from scratch, I did 85% of the work already, I just have to create a few players not a major task. I don't want anyone to complain, I didn't know people got so sensative, because anyone can use my work, alter it, add to it, etc, I don't mind at all. Now I know how some people feel about using that roster file as a starting point, I'll just use EA default as a starting point and my formulas and existing configuration of getting new ratings.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Never called Bonner a scrub, that's why I actually named him explicitely. He's a very good shooter and if he qualified under the NBA minimum FGs made, he'd be up there with one of the highest FG % in the NBA.

That's all I ask. It's just that we do have a "patchmaker's code" of ethics - it's customary to ask other patchers if you can use their work in your own updates and not to use it without permission. When it comes to my roster patch, I usually let people use it for special add-on patches (if they ask first) but I am reluctant to grant permission for my current roster to be taken and updated by someone else while I'm still maintaining it; it's just too big a shortcut.
I was a bit miffed that you did it a second time after I first noticed it, but as long as you're willing to do all your own work, more power to you. Thanks for your understanding.

I wasn't trying to be funny. I got it from the Raptors website - read the first paragraph.
