Create-A-Player Head Shape

Is it possible to use the head-shape of a created player, but put a face patch over it?

i've tried it with the default CAP headshape but not an edited one

I've tried the default head too. Looks terrible.

I'm just wondering if when you create a player, if there is a head shape that gets created and saved somewhere? And if so, can that be extracted and used for face patches?
