HELP - Hit Ball On An Object

I have NBA Live 2005 game for my gamecube, and need to know, how i get the ball to hit an object in the court .... Anyone please help, as i am going mad trying. I know how to hit it on the back board, but cant seem to find out what buttons it is to press to hit another object in the room.

i'm assuming you mean in slam dunk contest- and the answer is, simply, do the slam dunk tutorial. it will show you. but i'll tell you, if you don't have the patience for the tutorial, just to mess around with pressing (and holding) L and R, and then the way you toss the ball is with the yellow "c-stick". try pushing it different directions, spinning it in a circle, etc. it takes ALOT of practice. L and R are your "modifiers" that help make it different.

and if you mean in regular game play (not in slam dunk contest), you're out of luck. you can only do that kind of stuff in slam dunk contest.

I don't know how a Gamecube controller looks like, but for a PS2 controller, you must hold the d-pad while tossing the ball. I think holding the left direction will let you toss the ball off the big screen. It depends on the direction you're pressing. It takes a lot of experience, since in the practice mode, there is no big screen to toss at.
