Computer sucks with assists

OK. So blocking was really bad for NBA Live 2005. I finally got that fix with but now I just realized that computer is really bad with assist too. Computer have beeen getting only about 8-10 assist per game. This is really starting to annoy me when most team get about 20+ per game. I have been trying to fix it but have not found any success. If anyone got any solution, help me out. Thanks

This is a problem with the gameplay this year, there's a bit too much one-on-one play on the CPU's part. Players who would generally rack up at least 7 or 8 assists on a good night only dish out about 4 or 5. I'm not sure if there's much we can do about it but if I find a solution, be it slider changes or through updating ratings, I'll let everyone know.

I think a lot of it is to do with the Offensive awareness rating - I've upped this in many cases and it does help - not to the extent of getting it perfect but it does up the AI assists - this is watching cpu v cpu games btw.

K. After hours or messing around, I found that if you decreased dribbling ratings by about 10 and increase reach in foul frequency from 10 to 20, cpu are more likely to pass and it becomes harder for them to drive down the lane every time they get the ball. However it only helps a little bit, cpu still refuse to give up the ball even though they are being triple team which leads to high blocks per game.
