Help. Purple Faces with new Created player CyberFace

Yo i need help with making my CyberFace and my Created player. Ive Edited added it to the .viv and all that hoopla but when im in game only that persons face is all Purple... Game play is the same and everything just hes purple... Any suggestions why?

No im not new the live `05 or Comps, etc.

Have you changed his ID in the .dbf files?

Yes. Ive Did All of That. It just wont show up in game...

You probably are missing something very small...I would recheck it.

Whats a good Tut to follow ive seen 2 of em and one is longer than the other.

One tells me to do all this Head Shaping Hoopla and stuff. other says Open the McKie File and you knwo the rest. Add the jordan pic ( i changed it to my own pic) rename it (Renamed it to my created player name with abbrevs.), and put it back ibnto the .viv or whatever and it works...

Am i suppose to do the head Shaping stuff for this to work?

And if all else fails can somebody just do 1 for me so i can get the pic?

i think those were from Kevin's player portrait tutorial.

i think its not your problem try this:

Non Existing Player:
Follow the exact directions above to install the files that came with the patch. Next you will have to create Sasha
using EA's create a player. Once created you must then open the players.dbf and appearance.dbf files and make some minor
adjustments. The changes are listed below by file.

Players.dbf
Change the Following Field Attributes Sasha Vujacic
DELETED = F
ISCREATED = F
FACEPATCH = F
ISGENERATE = F
ISHISTORIC = F
PLAYERPKG = SAVUJAC

Appearance.dbf
In the Players.dbf locate the APPEARID for the Player and then search for it in the Appearance.dbf file. Once located make the following
changes

DELETED = F
FACEID = -1
ID7 = SAVUJAC

Now just load up the roster and the player should now be in the game. Enjoy

Yeah i did that and thats why i get the purple face... When i changed it back to my created playter stuff it worked... I guess its my graphics. (my .fish and all that hoopla)

It’s not supposed to get like that if you've done it correctly I’m afraid. Be sure to check it again...

What you could do is take a screen of what you got in that area (DELETED, ISCREATED, FACEPATCH and so on) in the .dbf's.
It's easy to miss something...

I haven't actually tried adding it myself yet, but if it would help, I could do it...

Okay.Will Do.

But for mine if i went into Edit player it would crash. and then if i pushed a button related to anything edidintg that person.... itd crash.

And when i did this i corrupted my Fantasy Rosters =( =p

Same thing here...I followed the instructions and made the edits in the post above. The picture that comes up with your stats is there, but the actual player face is purple.

By the way...do you mean PLAYERID in players.dbf = APPEARID in the appearance.dbf? APPEARID is not a field in players.dbf.

It's doing that because you don't have a cyberface for that player but you changed the dbf files. The face must of been computer generated that's why.

you either need to create a cyberface for that person or go back and retype the players original face name in the dbf.

i rechecked and rechekd again and i was right. its my CyberFace not my .Dbfs. Anybody send me a good Cyber Face Tut. If its any different from one i used then thats probally why.

I don't belive anyone has made a cuberface creation tutorial for 2005 yet. But the graphic stuff is pretty the same as they were for 2004.

That's how to make the actuall cyberface, if you need help getting the image into a .fsh file let us know...

I have the same problems with the violett faces. I read kevins tutorial and i changed the .dbf like Micchy_boy said.
